Anthony Tipton has 26 years of experience addressing a wide range of materials engineering issues. He has held various engineering and technical management positions at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Hamilton-Sundstrand, Dresser-Rand and Westinghouse Electric. During his career Mr. Tipton has been intimately involved in the design, development and manufacture of gas turbines, steam turbines and process gas expanders.

• Performed failure analysis of Space Shuttle APU disks and was responsible for addressing  materials related issues on NASA "back to space" efforts after the Columbia disaster

• Expert witness for a residential fire involving a wood stove.
